Nigeria and Entrepreneurship: Summit & Honors (NESH)

What you need to know

Nigeria and Entrepreneurship: Summit & Honors (NESH) is an indigenous platform that provides, through her annual conferences and events, an avenue for thought leadership and engagement, knowledge exchange, networking, benchmarking and appreciation of the contribution of entrepreneurs to national development.

NESH was founded in 2016 with the aim of organising a formidable platform for Nigerian Entrepreneurs with a goal to assist in making Nigeria a haven for Nigerian Entrepreneurs and for Entrepreneurship to become the major driver for the economic development of the country.

NESH organises several important annual events which bring together key leaders from the formal and informal sectors of the Nigerian Economy.

NESH is a platform in the vanguard of mobilising Nigerian Entrepreneurs to lead the country out of the current recession. NESH is fashioned to be in the forefront of promoting patronage of Nigerian made goods and services by the governments and people of Nigeria, but on the condition that the goods and services will be Made in Nigeria for the world and not for Nigerians alone. In other words, strict adherence to global standards and quality.

NESH’s inaugural events in 2016 consisted of the following: (a) Nigeria and Entrepreneurship: Summit and Honors (NESH) Conference/ NESH Gala Dinner & Awards; (b) NESH-NXT Conference for Young Entrepreneurs; and (c) An Evening with Dr. Okey Enelamah, the Federal Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, to discuss the 2017 Outlook for the Nigerian Industrial Sector with Nigerian Entrepreneurs.

Following the success of the inaugural 2016 events, NESH continues to create and organise several annual events focused on promoting entrepreneurship in Nigeria.

The NESH Events will be the first time that on a national level, Entrepreneurship is celebrated and given its true consideration for its role in our common national development. NESH aims to gather some of the greatest entrepreneurs that Nigeria has given birth to, and provide the platform for them to share their narratives, to network, and to engage with the Economic Management Team of the Federal Government of Nigeria and other key stakeholders.

NESH is governed by a Board of Trustees who bring with them, their wealth of knowledge, experience and drive from various sectors in Nigeria. The NESH Board of Trustees are:
